While I am happy that President Barack Obama has won re-election, I fear the same obstructionist GOP-controlled House will still refuse to introduce or pass bills based on his ideas. At the same time, I fear that any bills that the House passes that would benefit the country, will be stonewalled in the Democratic-controlled Senate.
Gridlock in Washington will probably continue unless we voters jam their phone lines and fill their inboxes with emails to demand a return to compromise and bi-partisanship. It's time that lawmakers, at all levels of government, begin passing laws that benefit of the country/state/district, and not the benefit of their party!
The big 3 networks all over-hyped the whole campaign. Obama won decisively. The media wanted everybody to believe it was close. It was never close. I turned them off last nite and watched cable.
